According to MINSAP´s latest report, 87 patients were hospitalized, 41 suspected cases and 46 confirmed active cases.
765 tests were carried out, eight of which came back positive, bringing Cuba´s overall Covid-19 case toll to 1,112,311 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
Out of the total number of new infections, six were contacts of already confirmed cases, one with a source of infection from abroad and another unspecified.
Cuba registered a total death toll of 8,530 (0.77% death rate), compared to 1.0% worldwide and 1.54% in the Americas.
