Russia rejects accusations of attack on a house in Dniepropetrovsk

Moscow, Jan 16 (Prensa Latina) Russia is incapable of attacking residential buildings, so Ukraine recognized that the collapse of a house in Dniepropetrovsk resulted in its own missile, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

The Russian army attacks obvious or camouflaged military targets, Peskov explained, responding to rumors in some media that pointed to Moscow as the perpetrator of an action against a building in the Ukrainian city of Dniepropetrovsk.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Presidential Aide Aleksey Arestovich stated that part of a residential building in Dniepropetrovsk collapsed due to the impact of an anti-aircraft missile from its air defenses.

Since October 10, Russia has been conducting precision strikes on Ukrainian military command posts, communications, and energy infrastructure, following the terrorist attack that destroyed a section of the Kerch Strait bridge in Crimea. jrr/iff/mem/gfa
