On Twitter, Bruno Rodríguez posted “our deep gratitude to the Colombian people and government for sending humanitarian assistance to Cuba, in solidarity with the Cuban families hard-hit by Hurricane Ian and also in support for recovery efforts”.

On Tuesday, Colombia conducted a protocol act for the solidarity assistance attended by Cuba´s Deputy Foreign Minister Nancy Benitez and Cuban ambassador in Bogota Javier Camaño.

The humanitarian assistance provides 142 tons of roofs for houses, water tanks, toiletries, kitchen utensils, sheets, bedspreads and other items for the families, Benitez detailed.
