All of them are men, including ten children under 18 years of age, and they have begun the health protocols established after returning home on Monday.

In addition to reuniting them with their families, the country’s federal authorities, alongside several organizations, intend to ease their social reintegration in correspondence with their skills and qualities.

Some 750,000 Ethiopians live in Saudi Arabia,of which 450,000 are undocumented or in very bad situations due to circumstances.

The repatriation began on March 30, 2022, after various meetings between authorities of both countries that, in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, defined logistical and legislative details.
