According to the Guidance Authority, a drone belonging to Tel Aviv transgressed Lebanese airspace, from the front of the town of Ramya towards the small city of Marwahin, on the southern border.
The Army stated that the UAV flew over Lebanese territory for 20 minutes until it headed towards the occupied territories.
Israeli intrusions into Lebanese territory are monitored by the Army in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force, established in the country since 1978 to maintain peace and stability in the southern area.
Last September, the Minister of Transport and Public Works in the interim government, Ali Hamie, denounced before the International Civil Aviation Organization that Israel violated Lebanese airspace 10,887 times over the last 10 years.
The Minister rejected Israel’s missile attacks on Syrian territory from Lebanese airspace with the aim of disturbing stability and peace in the region.
Despite the expulsion of Israel from Lebanon in May 2000, the israelites still holds the lands of Shebaa farms and the occupied hills of Kafar Chuba.
