On Twitter, the Cuban prime minister quoted the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro´s words: “Assassinating unarmed and tied men is simply monstrous”.
Back in 1992, a crook group attacked the Tarará nautical base, in the east of Havana, with the aim of stealing a boat and fleeing to the United States. During the incident, combatants Orosmán Dueñas, Yuri Gómez and Rafael Guevara were assassinated, while Rolando Pérez Quintosa was seriously injured.
The seven assailants´ purpose was to reach the United States in order to pick up on the Cuban Adjustment Act, but the illegal fleeing was frustrated, and thanks to Quintosa´s statements and coordinated actions by the Cuban enforcement law officers, attackers were arrested and tried.
