Quoting local activists SANA national news agency reported that extremist groups deployed in border areas fired artillery shells at the town of Al-Fatisa, the M4 road and the vicinity of the town of Ain Issa, in the far north of Raqa.
The almost daily attacks by Ankara’s troops and its local militias on residential areas, agricultural lands and roads, have caused heavy material losses, and disrupt public life, the sources added.
This shelling comes after a nearly two-week lull on all front lines with Turkiye following recent defense minister-level contacts between the two countries to achieve a rapprochement and solution to the Syrian crisis.
