According to the statement, issued after a meeting of the executive committee of that institution last night, the PLO rejected plans to increase the number of Jewish colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, areas occupied since the 1967 war.
The statement also condemned the recent visit of Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, which drew anger from Muslims and criticism from many countries in the region.
The PLO, as the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, called for an urgent meeting of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation following this incident.
In front of this situation, the PLO called for a boycott on the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that he refuses to abide by international laws and UN Security Council resolutions.
