The Cuban leader was accompanied by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero and the Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Roberto Morales.
During the meeting, the Ciego de Avila authorities laid stress on the pressing need to provide greater productive responses based on the province´s potential as well as to continue working on handing over land to producers and over 30 local organizations.
Meanwhile, Manuel Marrero pointed out that “we are living in different times and we need to do different things, we cannot go into 2023 doing the same thing; we must set concrete goals and set indicators.”
