In statements to the radio station FM La Patriada, the also deputy of the Frente de Todos highlighted the importance of this measure to demonstrate and combat the links between Justice and an opposition political sector.
In addition, he denounced the subordination of the Court to circles of power and the violations of the Rule of Law committed by the members of that body.
The day before, President Alberto Fernández and 12 governors sent a petition against Rosatti and three other members of the highest court to the president of the Impeachment Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Ana Carolina Gaillard.
In said document they ensure the existence of “an inadmissible degradation that puts the republican system of division of powers in check.”
As the text explains, this occurred mainly due to actions of the Court such as the declaration of unconstitutionality of Law 26,088, which had been in force for 16 years and established the functioning of the Council of the Magistracy.
Said entity also favored the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires with the increase in co-participating funds and issued a precautionary measure to force the State to pay this increase to this capital, even when this is not contemplated in the approved Budget for 2023.
It is an anomalous situation in which a State power arbitrarily decides to invade the spheres of competence of the rest, the document exposes.
Likewise, it denounces the coexistence and negotiation between Rosatti’s spokesman, Silvio Robles, and the capital’s Minister of Justice and Security, Marcelo D’Alessandro.
Through Robles, specific political operations were carried out, executed through arbitrary rulings, he adds.
On the other hand, he assures that Rosatti designed an illegal maneuver, through which he irregularly assumed the presidency of the Court; he took the Judicial Council by assault and manipulated its integration.
According to the text, everything was orchestrated together with the opposition alliance Juntos por el Cambio, especially by D’Alessandro and the head of the Buenos Aires government, Horacio Rodríguez.
