The rulers will address priority issues of cooperation between the two nations such as trade opening and items related to the UN Security Council, said the General Secretariat of Communication of the Ecuadorian presidency.
It also informed that they will discuss issues related to drug trafficking and organized crime, as well as the conservation of the Amazon, a space that Brazil shares with various nations of the continent.
The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, made up of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela, will hold a meeting on this matter in Brazil, the official note stated.
Quito announced that Lasso will maintain a work agenda in Brasilia that includes diplomatic, commercial and environmental situations.
