Bogomaz stated on Thursday via Telegram that no injuries or material damage were incurred during the downing of the unmanned aircraft.
The Bryansk authorities enacted a yellow-level terrorist alert in the region on April 11th, which has been repeated several times.
Since February 24th, when Russia launched its special military operation in Ukraine, several border regions, including Bryansk, have repeatedly reported material damage and civilian casualties caused by shelling and drone strikes coming from Ukrainian territory.
Flights to and from Bryansk and 10 other cities in the southern European part of Russia remain suspended since the start of the operations in Ukraine.
