Speaking at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting, the head of government said the Tel Aviv military and police arrested some 6,500 Palestinians this year.
More than 832 buildings and structures were demolished, and 13,000 olive trees uprooted, he criticized.
He stressed that they are facing complex crises because the national economy has suffered due to the significant decrease in international aid, the repercussions of Covid-19, the war in Ukraine and Israel’s theft of their taxes.
Quoted by the official WAFA news agency, Shtayyeh said Palestinians are not afraid of threats from the next Israeli administration, the most right-wing in the history of that nation.
He said they have already faced serious situations in the past and they all know that this is a political battle.
The prime minister pointed out that most people in the world support the Palestinian cause.
