According to the health entity’s latest report, France reaches 161,575 deaths since the start of the outbreak in March 2020.
Hours earlier, Dr. Brigitte Autran, immunologist, had forecast 135 to 150 deaths per day, figures that forced her to call on population, particularly people aged over 70, to receive the second booster dose. Hospitalization toll is also a worrying situation in France, where the number of patients admitted rose to 41 in the last 24 hours, reaching the country´s overall toll at 25,084, including 1,447 patients in ICUs.
