DPRK is celebrating 50th anniversary of socialist constitution (+Photos)

Pyongyang, Dec 27 (Prensa Latina) The Democratic People´s Republic of Korea (DPRK) is celebrating on Tuesday the 50th anniversary of its Juche Socialist Constitution, which maintains its validity with the people´s support and trust, local media reported.

On Monday, at a national ceremony at the Mansudae Assembly Hall, the constitution was honored by Secretary General of the Workers´ Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Jong Un, delegates of the 6th Plenary Session of the 8th Period of the Central Committee of this organization, members of the Armed Forces and other sectors, according to the ACNC state news agency.

Choe Ryong Hae, first vice president of the Committee of State Affairs and chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People´s Assembly, said that the constitution, drafted by Kim Il Sung himself, is the most popular and revolutionary code that materializes the Juche idea.

The DPRK is writing a new chapter of socialist legislation in the current era of revolution with major changes in this country, Choe said during the reading of the Demos report, which strongly boosts the institution of laws and the comprehensive development of the State using the Juche Socialist Constitution as a single weapon.

He highlighted that Korea is making progress under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, who clarified the theoretical-practical problems resulting from the drafting of homegrown laws.
