Latest report indicated that 23 cases were reported in several communities and 34 others from people arriving from abroad, as announced by Executive Vice-President Delcy Rodríguez, who also pointed out that the state of Bolívar was the most-hit with six infections, followed by the Capital District, Yaracuy, Aragua, Miranda, Lara, Zulia, Delta Amacuro, Barinas, Anzoátegui and Carabobo.
Out of those cases detected from abroad, 16 came from Panama, six from the Dominican Republic, six from Mexico, four from Spain and two from Turkey, including three minors.
The report indicated that 1,784 people are active cases, 62 hospitalized, 56 in Diagnostic Centers and 41 in private clinics.
Venezuela has reached a total of 550,126 infections in 1,015 days, 542,512 of which recovered (99%), and the country´s death toll remain at 5,830, after several days with no deaths reported.
