The 69-year-old individual, identified as William M., will be charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, aggravated violence and racist act, while the Kurdish community -target of the attack- and political sectors are demanding that he be prosecuted for terrorism.
However, there are many questions in this case, ranging from the state of mental health of the assailant to doubts as to whether he acted alone.
On Sunday, William M. returned to prison after a stay in a metal hospital, after a doctor determined that his health was not compatible with the confinement.
At the moment it is known the confessed intention, according to the DA’s Office, of the detainee to attack foreigners, towards whom he recognized a pathological hatred, but at the same time he considered himself prey to depression and suicidal thoughts.
On Friday, this French citizen first went to Saint-Denis armed, where he decided not to attack because there were few people in the place, so he went to Enghien street in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, where a Kurdish cultural center is located, and opened fire indiscriminately.
The perpetrator of the attack with a death toll of three had been released from prison on December 12 under judicial control and with at least two ongoing trials, the most recent of them related to the attack on migrants with a saber a year ago in Paris.
On Monday, the Kurdish Democratic Council in France called for a mobilization in this capital in tribute to the victims, a march that will include the arrival at 147 La Fayette street, where three Kurdish militants were killed in 2013, in an unsolved case.

Presentarán cargos contra autor de balacera en París
París, 26 dic (Prensa Latina) La Fiscalía de París prevé para hoy la presentación ante un juez de instrucción del responsable de la balacera que el viernes dejó tres personas asesinadas y tres heridas en el X distrito de esta capital.
El individuo de 69 años, identificado como William M., enfrentará ante la justicia francesa los cargos de asesinato, homicidio voluntario, violencia agravada y acto racista, mientras la comunidad kurda –blanco del ataque- y sectores políticos reclaman que sea procesado por terrorismo.
Sin embargo, existen muchas interrogantes en el caso, que van desde el estado de salud mental del agresor hasta las dudas de si actuó solo.
La víspera, William M. regresó a prisión tras un paso por la psiquiatría, después de que un médico determinara que su salud no era compatible con el encierro.
De momento se conoce la intención confesa, según la Fiscalía, del detenido de atacar a extranjeros, hacia quienes reconoció un odio patológico, pero al mismo tiempo se consideró presa de la depresión y de pensamientos suicidas.
El viernes, el ciudadano francés se dirigió primero a Saint-Denis armado, donde decidió no actuar porque había poca gente en el lugar, por lo que acudió a la calle Enghien del X distrito parisino, en la cual se sitúa un centro cultural kurdo, y abrió fuego indiscriminadamente.
El autor de la agresión con saldo de tres víctimas fatales había salido de prisión el 12 de diciembre bajo control judicial y con al menos dos procesos en curso, el más reciente de ellos relacionado con el ataque a emigrantes con un sable hace un año en París.
