According to a statement from the Export Council of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries, foreign sales of cosmetics accounted to 508 million dollars during the period, an increase of 118 percent over the previous period.

Pharmaceutical exports amounted to 196 million dollars between January and October, while medical exports recorded revenues of 87 million dollars.

The Council stated that the objective for 2030 is to increase exports of the sector by 30 percent.
