Thongloun Sisoulith expressed his belief in the promising future of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, in improving the livelihood of the people in a letter addressed to the Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK and General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

In the letter, the leader of Laos highlighted the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, which he described as an excellent tradition.

The President pointed out that bilateral ties bring substantial benefits to both peoples and contribute to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

He said Kim Jong Un’s congratulatory message on the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic served as a great encouragement to his government, his people and himself.

Thongloun Sisoulith took the opportunity to sincerely wish the Korean leader good health and happiness and also every success in his responsibilities.
