According to a press release, Haj Hassan met with his Egyptian counterpart Sayyed el Qussair and debated on export/import operations in order to ease trade between the two countries.

During the meeting, Haj Hassan conveyed the greetings of the Lebanese political leaders to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the Egyptian state’s helpful stance towards Lebanon.

He described as useful and constructive the meeting with the Egyptian minister in the framework of a real strategic partnership for the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

Qussair, on the other hand, praised his government’s commitment to support Lebanon in light of circumstances it is presently going through due to the economic, financial and social crisis.
