A provision from the Council of Ministers, published on the official regulations portal this Friday, states that the measures regarding some goods coming from the communitary bloc nations and other countries allied to the EU, will be extended until June 30, 2023.
Pork and beef, milk and dairy products, and some fruits and vegetables from the 27 EU member countries, Albania, Canada, the United States, Iceland, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, are subject to the embargo.
Belarus and Russia are submitted to an intense regime of sanctions by the EU and the Group of the Seven (G-7) since the last general elections held in the Slavic nation when President Aleksander Lukashenko was ratified in office.
