On his Twitter account, the foreign minister stated that unity is vital and strategic in the context of a multidimensional crisis and will be a pillar that Cuba will preserve during its pro tempore presidency in 2023.
Rodriguez added that the agenda of the ministerial meeting contains several issues for the countries of the South.
Cuba was elected on September 23 to chair the G-77 plus China in 2023.
It is the first time that Cuba holds this responsibility, announced during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The G-77 consists of developing and underdeveloped countries that promote support in international organizations, and defend common interests.
