During the day, 23 patients were discharged and the total number of recovered people is 1,102,947, and 1,111,594 have been reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020, while the total death toll remains at 8,530.

This favorable epidemiological result is the result of the staggering vaccination campaign against Covid-19 since Cuba has administered 42,611,832 doses of the homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines against Covid-19.
