Russian Duma: Germany and France must compensate Donbass

duma-rusa
Moscow, Dec 10 (Prensa Latina) Germany and France must pay Donbass residents compensation for the intentional breach of the Minsk agreements, said the president of the Russian State Duma, Viacheslav Volodin.

According to the official, after the admission by former Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel of the willful breach of the Minsk Agreements, Germany and France are morally and materially responsible for what is happening in Ukraine.

“And for this they will have to compensate the population of Donbass for eight years of genocide and damage, although this is only the beginning,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel this Saturday.

Volodin said that the premeditated breach of the commitments acquired as a result of the signing of the international agreement not only supposes a loss of confidence, but also “a crime for which the signatories of the Minsk agreements must answer.”

Volodin specified that the former presidents of France, Francois Hollande, and of Ukraine, Piotr Poroshenko are guilty along with Merkel.

First, in 2014, the foreign ministers of Germany and France signed a conciliation document between the legitimate Ukrainian authorities and the opposition as trustees of a peaceful evolution, which ended in a coup and genocide against the inhabitants of Donbass, Volodin added.

The Russian politician also added that it is time for European citizens to know to whom they owe their problems such as the lack of heating, electricity, enormous inflation, and the shut down of companies.
