Huyen Duc was the only scientist to receive the Young Persons’ Achievement Award for outstanding contributions in the field of aviation in 2022, The Voice of Vietnam highlighted.
The young researcher, who completed his doctoral thesis in aeronautical engineering at the University of Bristol last year, became the first Vietnamese scientist to be awarded one of the oldest and most prestigious awards in the sector.
The VNA news agency highlighted that Huyen Duc’s study topics are focused on automatic control in the production of compounds for use in the aeronautical and space industry, with the use of applied algorithms, such as branching and cybernetics, to solve these problems.
The RAeS is a prestigious aviation organization founded in 1866, whose members are aeronautical institutions and corporations from around the world, including Boeing, Airbus, BAE Systems, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, among others.
