In a telegram sent to the Central Asian nation’s leader on his birthday, Putin stressed the statesman’s work to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The Russian leader also stressed Zhaparov’s role in promoting the integration processes in the Eurasian space and the interaction within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Putin restated his hope that the talks between the two presidents continue and wished the Kyrgyzstan president good health, prosperity, and success.
In turn, the Kyrgyzstan president’s press service reported that the two leaders discussed in a telephone conversation on Tuesday the agenda of the upcoming summit of the Eurasian Economic Union, to be held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on December 9.
