In its monthly report about the issue, the agency stated that exports totaled 4.11 billion dollars, an increase of 11.6 percent compared to September 2021.
CAPMAS pointed out that the increase was motivated by higher sales abroad of several commodities, such as liquefied natural gas (671.1 percent), fertilizers (15.1 percent), and ready-made clothes (9.2 percent).
Meanwhile, it stated that imports fell 16.4 percent to reach 6.55 billion dollars.
