India´s death toll rose to 530,628, after health authorities reported one more death in the state of Odisha.

For the time being, as many as 44,138,235 people have being recovered from the infection, bringing India´s overall recovery rating to 98.80%.

The number of current Covid-19 patients has been reduced to 4,529, according to government data.

To date, over 2.1 billion Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in India, with a population of around 1.4 billion.
