In a communique, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Muttaqi discussed the transportation of goods and passengers between countries and other trade issues.
According to the document, Khar pledged to facilitate good treatment of Afghan refugees on its territory, visa granting, trade, and transit.
The communiqué added that the Afghan minister expressed his willingness to resume railway projects and stated its position on political relations, economic development, and security.
They also agreed to form a new bilateral cooperation mechanism; all issues and opportunities are enhanced through negotiations, Foreign Ministry Deputy Spokesman Zia Ahmad Takal said. This is the first Pakistani delegation headed by a woman to visit Afghanistan since the Islamic Emirate (Taliban Government) returned to power 15 months ago.
