Australia confirmed that India has completed its internal requirements to enable the implementation of the bilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement, Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell said in a statement on Wednesday.
The agreement will provide new market access opportunities for Australian businesses and consumers, Farrell said.
The deal, which was signed on April 2nd, will give Indian exporters of textile, leather, furniture, jewelry and machinery sector, duty-free access to the Australian market.
