Putin sent greetings to the participants of the IV Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum, being held in Moscow, and pointed out that this sphere is one of the key areas and the most dynamic of bilateral economic cooperation.
The President explained that Moscow and Beijing will ensure a high level of ties in the oil, gas, coal and energy sectors.
In this regard, he stressed that Russia and China are carrying out large-scale joint projects on nuclear power plants in Chinese territory and on the production of liquefied natural gas.
The head of state also noted that the Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum plays an increasingly important role in expanding the cooperation of both parties in the energy sector, as it provides regular dialogue between government agencies and experts of both countries.
The development of a single information and analysis platform will certainly open up new opportunities for launching mutually beneficial business initiatives, he concluded.
