According to press secretary Ivis Alvarado, President Xiomara Castro ordered her ministers to fight disinformation by reporting to the population through the national television service.
The decision was taken after a meeting of the expanded cabinet held on Saturday, in which the head of state was informed of the reports of the management results, which evaluates the work of the Honduran incumbents.
Foreign Minister Enrique Reina tweeted specifying that no decisions are being made on the future of Executive officials.
“There are periodic reviews on a quarterly basis and this is practically the next-to-last one before the end of the year and we will be able to make the necessary adjustments to meet the goals set by the president in them,” Reina explained.
