On his Twitter account, the head of Cuban diplomacy expressed his deep sorrow for the death “of that dear friend of Cuba and of the Revolution” and extended his message to the relatives and friends of the human rights defender.

Argentina decreed three days of national mourning as a tribute to Hebe and Vice President Cristina Fernandez described her as a world symbol of struggle, Argentina’s pride and added, ” God called you on the day of National Sovereignty. It shouldn’t be a coincidence. Simply thank you and see you always.”
