MINSAP’s daily report noted that four patients were discharged so the total number of recovered individuals rose to 1,102,726, and 1,111,333 cases have been reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020.

This favorable epidemiological outcome is the result of the staggering vaccination campaign against Covid-19 since Cuba has administered 42,458,145 doses of its homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines.
