According to MINSAP, 51 patients remained hospitalized, 29 suspected cases and 22 confirmed cases. With these new infections -contacts of confirmed cases- Cuba reached 1,111,330 positive cases reported since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

Of the two diagnosed cases, one aged under 20 and the other aged between 20 and 39.

To date, Cuba has reported 8,530 deaths, none in the last 24 hours, reaching case fatality rate of 0.77% compared to 1.03% reported worldwide and 1.58% in the Americas.
