Edelgueriev, who met on Wednesday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in the context of the 27th UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), stressed that climate change is an issue that really concerns everyone.

Both sides debated on major challenges to face, including to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, improve sustainability and adaptation, the Russian Federation delegation reported.

Edelkhoriev stated his meeting with Shoukry reached into an agreement to continue talks and organize further bilateral contacts in future negotiation process.
