The fair, to be held until November 13, brings together more than 740 domestic companies and firms from 43 countries.
It also consists of virtual pavilions, and many aircraft, such as the C919 passenger plane, will do demonstration flights.
This aircraft, China’s first plane for commercial use, is ready to enter the market and compete with some models of US manufacturer Boeing and the French firm Airbus.
The military attractions include the J-20 fighter, the YU-20 bomber, conventional and amphibious submarines, many kinds of frigates, and autonomous boats.
