On his Twitter account, the Cuban foreign minister said the willingness of U.S. solidarity groups and Cubans living in the United States is “to found Bridges of Love Project ahead of constant insensitive” unilateral measures imposed by the U.S government.
On Sunday, Bridges of Love project, headed by Cuban-American Carlos Lazo, delivered a donation to ¨Pepe Portilla¨ Children´s Hospital in the western province of Pinar del Río.
The donation, collected from the United States, worth over $70,000 and includes 10,000 pounds of powdered milk, about 27,000 surgical gloves, medicines and foodstuffs.
