Syrian Health Ministry informed that after being reported 100 new cholera cases, the total cholera case toll amounted to 1,249. Aleppo reported 755, Deir Ezzor (207), Hasakeh (78), Raqa (51) and Latakia (59).

The health ministry said Aleppo continues to be the province with highest death figures with 40, followed by Hasakeh (4), Deir Ezzor (2), and Damascus (1). The two new deaths were confirmed in the central provinces of Hama and Homs.

As explained by the health ministry, the main cause of death of the new deaths continues to be the delay in going to health centers to seek medical attention.
