Bangladesh communist party calls for the end of U.S. blockade

Dhaka, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) Bangladesh´s Communist Party on Friday sent a solidarity message to both Cuban people and government calling for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.

The Communist Party Chair Shah Alam and its Secretary-General Ruhin Hossain Prince strongly rejected the illegal blockade against Cuba, according to a statement Prensa Latina had access to.

Bangladesh´s Communist Party condemned those damages caused to the Cuban people by this U.S. policy for over 60 years, as well as the tightening of inhuman sanctions amid current Covid-19 pandemic.

The party also condemned the exclusion of Cuba from the arbitrary and immoral list created by Washington of alleged states sponsoring terrorism.

The Bangladeshi political force called on the international community and Cuban friends to urge for the end of this hostile blockade against Cuba, while reiterating its support for the Cuban government and people.
