The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Daoud Rayyan, 42, was shot dead in the heart during a clash in the West Bank village of Beit Duqqu.
Habes Rayyan, 54, was killed near a checkpoint at the entrance of the village of Beit Ur on Wednesday after allegedly attempting to ram his car into the military officers.
Another Palestinian man, Amer Bader, 20, was killed in the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City this Thursday after stabbing an Israeli officer in the neck before he was shot dead.
In recent months, Palestinian attacks against the neighboring nation’s security forces have increased in response to Tel Aviv’s crackdown in the occupied territories.
The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights reported last week that 118 Palestinians, including 26 children and five women, have been killed by Israeli troops in the West Bank this year.
