According to Global Times, the hearing to analyze the complaint will take place on December 8, but it did not specify where would be held, nor did it offer more details about the case.
A Chinese analyst commented that the action could help Huawei strengthen its global position in the industry and its image as a defender of the rights of technology firms globally.
The company holds more than 110,000 active patents and leads inside and outside China in this aspect.
Huawei was the world’s second smartphone supplier, but an offensive led by the United States in addition to the Covid-19 pandemic hit its coffers in 2020.
Between January and September 2022, it earned 445.8 billion yuan (61.63 billion dollars), for a 2.2 percent year-on-year drop, but in line with its projections.
