The delegates will debate on the challenges “to confront the main enemy, which is imperialism,” Angel Arzuaga Reyes, Deputy Head and Coordinator of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba said.
Arzuaga Reyes added in a press briefing that the guests will learn about the national reality through visits to communities and scientific centers; and remarked that the work of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, will be present in each speech.
He added that, based on unity, participants from all continents will discuss their respective realities and world problems.
He stated that the Final Declaration of the Meeting and the Action Plan to be adopted would mark the struggle against the common enemy of the peoples and their expansionist desires.
Under the slogan “United we are stronger,” the event meets more than 160 delegates from about 60 countries in Havana.
