During a meeting with senior officials on Tuesday evening, Abdolahian provided no further details, but last week he announced that at least seven EU entities and three British officials were among those likely to be sanctioned, including the Iran International and BBC Persian television channels that are accused of fostering violence during last few weeks´ riots.
Similarly, the Head of Iran’s Judiciary Qolam Hosein Mohseni Eyei condemned the United States, Israel and some European states of committing vandalism following the death of the young Iranian Mahsa Amini on September 16.
Eyei asked to sue those involved before international courts for supporting the riots, interfering in internal affairs of other nations and sponsoring counterrevolutionary terrorist groups focused on destabilizing the Islamic Republic.
