The National Development and Reform Commission, China’s top economic planner, announced the plan and explained that it is formed along with the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Ministry of Transport.
The creation of teams to oversee the implementation of signed projects with foreign companies and ensure business exchanges, land supply, and proper commercial channels are among the initiatives.
The country will soon seek to increase the presence of multinational companies in sectors such as medicine, semiconductors, and the chemical industry, in addition to prioritizing equipment manufacture, components, and high-tech parts.
China will also promote foreign investments in central and western regions and adjust sanitary mechanism to unblock travels of executives, managers, and key personnel with their relatives.
With this plan, China attaches an increasingly vital role of foreign capital in its efforts to counteract the impact of the complex global economic situation.
