Dr. Erenio González, coordinator of the Group of Industries, presented the objectives and results during the year in terms of linking the territory’s chemical, mechanical and light companies with the sugar cane industry, through the use of various products in their fabrications.
To make more factories of factories, to produce animal feed from the residues of sugar cane and to elaborate other energy sources such as biomass, Dr. González called.
For his part, Rafael Bello, president of the Villa Clara branch of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, referred to the need to make doctoral scholarships and seek incentive mechanisms so that young people can add to the scientific reserve and train as doctors.
The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara, Osnay Miguel Colina, summing up the activity, stressed that the territorial scientific community must still contribute more in food production and housing construction, the digital transformation of society and the preparation of the scientific reserve.
He also urged the cultural and political preparation of leaders in the sector, and exhorted government and community leaders to observe the role of science and innovation as something vital, in today’s Cuba, for the management of government.
