The meeting aimed to discuss cooperation between that academic center and higher education institutions in Cuba.

“A pleasant meeting with the UNAM rector, Dr. Enrique Graue Wiechers, with whom I exchanged about cooperation between UNAM and Cuban universities,” Rodriguez Costa wrote in messages on social networks.

The head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Mexico congratulated Rector Graue for his honorary doctorate degree granted by the University of Havana.

In September, the Cuban university awarded the distinction to Graue for his “outstanding contributions to strengthening and developing public university in Mexico and his defense of university autonomy,” the ambassador noted.
