Various Ukrainian media reported explosions on Tuesday throughout the country in Nikolayev, Krivoy Rog, Dniepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Odessa and Vinnitsa.
Regional governments urged the population to head to civil protection shelters and await the end of the air alarms, the Strana.ua news portal highlighted on Tuesday.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kiril Tymoshenko announced that two energy infrastructure facilities in the Ukrainian city of Dniepropetrovsk were seriously damaged by air strikes.
Timoshenko also noted that explosions and fires were reported in the city of Krivoy Rog, while a power outage occurred in Nikolayev and part of the surrounding region.
He also reported that two series of explosions occurred in the area of one of the industrial companies in the city of Kharkov, after which the city was left without electricity.
Since last October 10th, Russia has conducted air strikes en masse using high-precision missiles and kamikaze drones against the command centers of the General Staff, communications infrastructure and energy facilities in Ukraine in response to terrorist attacks (such as the one that targetted the Kerch bridge) ordered by the government of President Vladimir Zelensky, which has the support of the United States and other member countries of NATO.
