According to specialists, the downward trend in confirmed case toll is due to the excellent control and management of the disease nationwide, as well as the massive vaccination strategy with Cuba’s homgrown vaccines, among other factors.
Thus, Cuba reaches 1,111,260 people diagnosed with coronavirus since March 2020; however, 15 people still remain hospitalized, all of them showing a stable clinical progress.
The Public Health Ministry (MINSAP) reported that two patients were discharged from hospital in the last few hours, bringing the country´s overall discharge toll to 1,102,656.
