According to General Oleg Yegorov, Deputy Chief of the Moscow Ministry of Defense’s Syrian-Russian Coordination Center at the Hemeimem Airbase in Latakia province, the action took place in Jassem, Dara’a province, about 100 kilometers south of Damascus.
